Sacramento Chess Club Meetings have restarted at Great Escape Games. Great Escape Games does not require individuals who are fully vaccinated to wear a mask when in the store, however, please protect yourself to what ever level you deem to be appropriate.  If you have not been fully vaccinated, please wear a mask at the Club meetings.  Please be aware that mask protocols at any time.

The Sacramento Chess Club meets
Tuesday evenings from 6 to 10 pm at Great Escape Games, 1250 Howe Avenue, Suite 3A (the shopping center has an Old Navy and Ross store in it). Great Escape Games is located at the furthest point away from the corner
of Howe and Hurley in the shopping center (you will need to drive behind the
shopping center to get to Great Escape Games).  We are a USCF affiliate and charge no dues.  Everyone of all ages and playing strength is welcome!

Sacramento Pawns On-Line Events through Chess.com
On-going -- hosted by Michael Aigner (aka fpawn) 


In order to participate in these events, you will need to log on to your Chess.com account and join the Sacramento Pawns Chess Group. This is a closed group (approval needed to join) to discourage trolls and other bad actors. Identify yourself or your child in case Michael does not recognize you, either by message on Chess.com or per email (michael@fpawn.com). If you do not have an account on Chess.com, you may register a basic account (free!) and join the club.

Currently scheduled events are G/10 arenas from 7 to 8 PM on most Sundays. Join the Sacramento Pawns group by clicking here to learn about other scheduled events.

Auburn Chess Club On-Line Events through Chess.com

Davis Scholastic Chess Club (DSCC)

The DSCC holds weekly in person and online meetings.   The club has a very active group of students and newcomers are always welcome.  Here is a list of upcoming events.  Please contact NM John Langreck with any questions by sending him an email.
